Pressure Cooker and Canner Gauge Testing
Pressure canner and cooker steam gauges should be tested for accuracy.
Your pressure cooker or canner dial gauge will be tested
against a Master Gauge
which will determine if your gauge is accurate, if you can compensate
for your gauge being off, or if your gauge needs to be replaced.
Check with your County University Extension office to see if the testing is done locally.

Can I use any pressure gauge on a pressure canner? "NO"!
These are ”STEAM GAUGES”. They are specially designed to work WET and HOT.
